PATHWAYS SUB-SCHOOL

Year 10 - Koroit Campus

Year 10 marks an exciting new chapter as students officially begin their Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) journey.

The VPC program focuses on building essential competencies across four core areas: Literacy, Numeracy, Work Related Skills (WRS), and Personal Development Skills (PDS). Through highly individualised learning programs, students continue to strengthen their academic foundation while also developing the skills needed for life, work, and further education.

Students undertake structured workplace learning, work experience placements, and Vocational Education and Training (VET) subjects tailored to their interests and career goals. These experiences are carefully supported by staff to ensure that students feel confident, capable, and well-prepared for the workforce.

Career Action Planning remains a key focus, with students refining their plans and setting clear goals for their future pathways.

Throughout Year 10, students are also supported to transition smoothly into the Senior Secondary College, which is co-located within Hume Central Secondary College, offering even more opportunities for academic growth, vocational learning, and independence.

Our team ensures that every student is equipped with the skills, confidence, and support they need to successfully move into their senior years and beyond.
